Job Title: Foundation & Geotechnical Engineer

Position Type: Full-time/Part-time/Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an engineer with strong foundation and geotechnical experience to join our engineering team. The engineer will be responsible for managing site operations, including the understanding and implementation of various construction techniques such as bored piles, micro piles, caisson piles and retaining wall systems. Engineering planning experience is essential. The engineer should also have deep knowledge of contractual issues and be proficient in digital software tools used by geotechnical engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee site operations and manage construction projects related to foundations and geotechnical work
• Understand and implement various construction techniques such as piling, foundation work, slope stabilization, and soil mechanics
• Design and review foundation and geotechnical plans, as needed
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations
• Deep understanding of contractual issues and ability to negotiate and manage contracts
• Proficiency in digital software tools used by geotechnical engineers is a bonus

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in construction, with a focus on foundations and geotechnical work
• Proficiency in digital software tools used by geotechnical engineers 
• Strong understanding of construction techniques and methods related to foundations and geotechnical work
• Experience managing site operations and construction projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Able to provide excellent client service
